Towser's internal cascade

The outhaul wire and the shock-cord lead to a single block that begins a 4:1 cascade. Both lines of the cascade dead-end on a shackle (seen here lying on the boom but normally attached to the boom's inboard casting). The blocks are positioned within the boom by the need to avoid rivets and screws protruding through the boom walls.
