Replacement for Marmac Engine Controls

I am trying to find a suitable replacement for the Marmac Engine Controls.  Has anyone replaced these controls and if so, what did they use?  Engine is a Yanmar 1GM10.  Thanks

Re: Replacement for Marmac Engine Controls

Looks like someone has had success with replacing with a Morse MV-2  (later version is the MV-3).

My transmission cable end snapped, due to the engine control handles spinning too far around.  I need a better solution and the morse may be the answer http://www.correctcraftfan.com/Downloads/Morse_MV-2_Owner_Manual.pdf

No more holding one lever while moving the other?!   I wonder if the cable will fit.  I hope not to have to replace both cables and the control.

Any experience out there?

Re: Replacement for Marmac Engine Controls

For the record, the correct replacement cable for my shifter on a Mk V with Yanmar 1GM is a Teleflex 3300 model CC172 or (newer part number) CC230
