For Sale: 1985 C&C 27 MK V

"Stella!" 1985 C&C 27 MK V (Hull # 562), 1GM10 Inboard, folding prop. Located in southwest Florida. Ready to race spinnaker (and is currently racing) or cruise comfortably. Many new installs in the last year include: Engine overhaul (minor), lifeline replacement, new headstay & Harken Mk IV Unit 0 roller furling, Raymarine ST 1000 Tillerpilot, Tacktick T101 Wireless Wind System (added to new 2014 T103 Speed/Depth), Quantum/Bacon tri-radial 155 roller furling racing headsail (1/8/17). Bottom cleaned by diver monthly & pre-race scrubbed. Boat been hauled and bottom painted twice in last two years. Pettit Trinidad SR applied & burnished.

Additional major/minor installs & upkeep over last 1-2 years include: Lowrance Elite 5M GPS chartplotter with RAM mount, Bacon/CSF membrane laminate 155%, hull/keel & rudder overhaul, new mast wiring, LED anchor light, mast/deck steaming light, bilge pump/check valve/hose /panel & wiring, battery charging solar panels/charge controllers, Ritchie SR-2 cockpit compass, retrofit drain tube from under deck head to bilge, baby stay chainplate & baby stay with Johnson quick release lever, new mahogany/oak epoxy laminated tiller – REAL PRETTY!, mesh spin launch bag under forward hatch, Harken Hi-load 1250 mainsheet traveller car & track, transmission engine coupler/PSS dripless shaft packing/cutless bearing, Ronstan 3/8” port/stbd adjustable inner genoa track lead cars & track, replace double lead 5:1 split backstay adjuster with 20:1 double lead cascading backstay adjuster (old 5:1 split can be reinstalled, if desired), beautiful Kiwi-Grip non-skid deck paint, single handle Morse control & throttle/shift control cables, Horizon GX-1600 VHF radio & cockpit RAM3 remote mic, spreader/backstay/baby stay rollers and masthead back stay flicker, deck blocks/cams for spin sheet twings, 3/8”x200’ 3-strand nylon anchor rode, Fortress FX-7 anchor (Danforth S-1300 spare/back-up), just completed interior blue Naugahyde cushions, 12/31/17 masthead Windex 15 w/bird spike (damn Ospreys!), (3) spare never-used NER VPC 3/8”x90’ (red, green, blue) spare halyards, vintage Sea Swing propane stove & custom stove mount, Kenyon butane stove, Porta-potti, Windscoop, fenders, dock lines, everything to dock or anchor, plus engine spares, new unused ablative bottom paint in cans, AND

Custom fitted 1980 steel Triad tandem axle trailer: Rear electric brakes, HD extended front receiver, heavy duty, adjustable 10,000# 5/16” ball receiver, emergency break-away system, 7-wire lighting and break control wiring, new front jack (old rear stabilizing jack), new posts & pads and (4) tires (w/2K miles). All new trailer installs completed 10/14.

There’s probably more that I installed, but have forgotten & lost in-between the lines. I am a retired professional marine mechanic and systems installer (1996-2016) with over 20 years in the marine trades industry and over 50 years of racing & sailing. I completed all the installations in between work and races - sleeping a few hours in between all of it, too!

$15,000 and I’ll toss the trailer in for free! Boat & trailer are Florida titled/registered, free and clear of any liens. Cash only, no scammers or spammers.
