What version boat do I have?

Celebros is a 1974, the builders plate says 250218  74. The rudder hangs off the back of the boat and is attached by gudgons. There is one window on each side. There is no internal engine, instead an outboard hangs off the back, in fact it never ever had an internal engine as I would see controls left over in the cockpit. The mainsheet is attached to a traveller on the stern. The boat has no stove, only one small sink on the port side and an ice chest on starboard.

I need new sails so I figured I would need to find out my mark first. (does anyone have any main sails without large tears in them? I have a nice square foot speedhole in my main)-Jamie

Re: What version boat do I have?

Jamie, this sounds like a C&C 25 Mk. 1.  I had one for 19 years before moving up to my 27 and it was a great boat.  Simple and sea-kindly, and a joy to sail.

Try FX sails in North Carolina, you can get a quote on line . The new main for 27 is less than 1000 dollars, may be less if your boat is 25. I and 3 of my friends bought mains from them and we're all very satisfied.
