MKV Bayfield Wisconsin

Hello, does anybody know anything about this boat. Its been on the market for some time, has been on the hard for several years, has a few leaks etc. etc.  I live in Victoria, so if anyone has seen this boat or heard anything about it, I would appreciate it, as its a long drive! My personal e-mail.  [email]Gary.Badgley@pensionsbc.ca">Gary.Badgley@pensionsbc.ca</a>

Cheers.

Re: MKV Bayfield Wisconsin

After much research I found out about this boat.  It is on the hard and has been for three years.  Under tarps and has some leaks but owner in disclosure statement claims they are not large.  Claims deck is basically delmination free.  Needs rebedding of fittings etc.

Claims hull is in good shape with no blisters.  Was expoxied in its early days.

Has a little C&C smile at the keel hull joint.

Originally standing rigging.  Running rigging needs to be upgraded.

Older outboard.  Older sails.  Interior supposedly average for a boat of this age.

As I live in Victoria, I had to scratch this off my short list, as the trucking was just too expensive to make it a practical investment.   If I was living in Eastern/Central Canada and was looking for an outboard version of the Mark V, I would have taken a closer look.

Boat is listed on Yachtworld for 15K I believe.
