tape varieties

for taping around cotter pins etc. in the rigging, I have always spent the $$ for the "rigging" tape-the stretchy white stuff that more or less seals to itself. On my newly acquired Mark V, I found electrical tape/white and duct tape/white left behind by the previous owner. Is it possible that this stuff is OK to use in our marine environment?copasetic

Re: tape varieties

I use the white electrical tape on both the 27 mk V and the J105 I race on. The only thing that I have to do is go around every now and then is to cut off the loose ends. And the odd time just retape. A role of white electrical tape is cheep

Re: tape varieties

two wraps of that expensive rigging tape (so you don't leave glue behind) then cover with white sticky tape.
