Hi all,
I got the thumbs up from your exec before posting this - didn't want to be accused of spamming... With most boats in the water now, it's time to start planning your racing schedules.
I am chairing the organizing committee for the 2010 QCYC/NYC Open Regatta. We've got a bunch of very enthusiastic sailors who are working hard to return this end-of-season party to its former glory and have been organizing since late last fall.
I'd like to extend the invitation to all the C&C 27s to come out for it. I realize that you've probably already set your "championship" dates for 2010, but we do have a few 27s at the club that will be racing and it would be great to see a strong showing from the fleet in FS and/or NFS.
We've decided to go back to the traditional 1-day format on Saturday, Sept. 11th. Online registration is now open on www.lorc.org.
I hope to see many of you there.

[For the record, regatta and club on-the-water event invitations are totally okay as long as they include C&C 27's. - Admin]

Pardon my ignorance but where are QCYC/NYC?

[Follow the link to LORC (Lake Ontario Racing Council) and you'll find a list of member clubs, including Queen City YC and National YC, the first on the eastern end of Toronto Island and the second on the city side at the outer end of the Western Gap that flows from the harbour. Both clubs' web sites have maps showing their locations. - Admin]
