"Primarily sailed on Geist Reservoir in Indianapolis, Dauntless is the perfect size sailboat for our family of five and sailing desires. Living only a few blocks from the marina, we love the performance, accommodations and versatility she provides. We are frequently onboard either sailing, motoring around, entertaining guests, teaching adult keelboat sailing lessons or overnighting. At least once a year, we trailer the vessel to one of the Great Lakes for extended cruising adventures.

"Dauntless (ex Second Wind) is the very first of the Mark IV models manufactured by C&C in 1981 (Niagara-On-The-Lake facility). We are the fourth owner who has the privilege of sailing her.

"While currently outfitted for cruising (with the original, very basic deck hardware), future plans involve refitting the vessel for racing including new sail inventory, updated deck hardware, new running rigging, new electronics, fresh bottom, etc. Ultimately we would like to race Dauntless (and achieve a decent showing) in the Lake Michigan Race to Mackinac and other area and regional regattas."
