Galley light

LEDs have the great sailboat virtues of a) demanding neglible amounts of electricity and b) producing no heat. They also produce a very balanced light, without the yellow of incandescents or the green tinge of fluorescents.

"I am getting ready to start a replacement for the light over the salon table. I will use up the rest of my cool whites and then I'll put in a couple rows of bright white and a couple rows of red. All three will be on their own dimmer. The housing will be all acrylic. Wish me luck." – Michael Suitor
