Exhaust watertraps

The diameter of Towser's Atomic 4 exhaust was inadequate for the Yanmar. It was replaced with larger diameter hose and these two Vetus watertraps. The right one leads to a hose that loops up to the top of the transom, where there is a bronze siphon break, then down to a new transom fitting. Since this photo was taken, a layer of foam insulation has been placed between the first watertrap and the hull to prevent abrasion.
