Cheers & thanks

Re: Spinnaker Pole Mast Ring Height

Hi;
On my Mkv, the pole is 33 inches above the deck for use with a symmetrical spinnaker.  However, if I want to use it as a whisker pole, it needs to be lower. This would also be the case if you're flying an asym. The Mkv has a movable ring, so its ready for any use.
You'll have to drill holes to mount the fixed ring. Consider drilling a few more and mount a short piece of track on the front of your mast, which will allow a movable ring and more options for you.
Good Luck,

Hi Tony

Thanks very much for your experience.

Maybe a track is the way to go, more fastening points

into the mast.

Cheers
