Can anyone recommend a ready made stern mounted swim ladder for a Mk V? And where best to mount it?

If you got a stern ladder then ignore this message.
My C&C27 Mark V #584 came with a stern ladder, but I changed the bolts and washers to aluminum plates and bolts to accommodate heavy weight. Works well.

Any idea on where to source a ladder? My MKV doesn't have one and looking to install.

Hi Brian,
Might you have an image of the stern ladder in place that you can email to [deleted]? Any markings on the ladder that might identify the manufacturer?
Thanx.

Any update about a good stern ladder that would work for a Mark V.

I ordered one through Southshore I believe and looks to be of very high quality. Have not yet had a chance to mount it though. They swore it was to original specifications. To boot, it was one of the cheaper options that I identified.

Thanks for your reply I will be curious to hear how it works out for you. I am guessing but is the ladder you ordered a 3 step Garelick transom ladder?

It is indeed 3 step but solely made of stainless steel. If anyone can tell me how to post a picture, I'd be happy to do so tonight.
