Sails for sale MKI

Moving and cleaning out garage several MKI sails for sail, two older but serviceable mains, one tall boy, and a hank on Genoa.

Re: Sails for sale MKI

Mike,

I emailed you on 14 April but did not hear back.  Are the sails still available?

Re: Sails for sale MKI

Quick, totally different subject, question for you Brian. How far back do the toerails go on your boat? I have hull #4 and there is teak capping on the last 6 feet and across the transom. I haven't seen that on any others though and the next oldest boat I've seen was ~#96.

Thanks,
Jeff

Mike - I am still interested.  I will give you a call one AM this week, not too early allowing for time difference.

Re: Sails for sale MKI

Jeff,

I remember the question and thought that I had answered it.  Sorry about that.

Toe rails extend back to within 12" of the transom, before teak cap begins.  going from memory here so I will get you a photo if you need one.

and I applaud your efforts to trace the lineage and the original detailing.

Best,

Re: Sails for sale MKI

I'm just a curious guy Brian. I think it would be interesting to know what hull number was the first to have C&C as the manufacturer instead of Hinterhoeller. My best guess is that is when the toerails are going to go right to the stern.
