Anyone had experience with Raymarine's Rotavecta transducer mounted at the masthead and sending to an ST40 display, specifically its sensitivity/responsiveness in light wind? Thanks in advance.

Hi Ken. I have a raymarine ST40 wind instrument on Legacy, It reads the wind very well as long as it is calibrated. If it is not properly calibrated, then you may as well stick your finger up in the air, it would be more acurate. All kiding aside it works well.
HI Ken
I use the hand held unit mounter off the stern. It does show the wind speed and let me know when to shorted the sails. http://www.inspeed.com/ It is mounted in a piece of plastic pipe with wood inside to hole tight. Want more info e-mail me Kenny
