Kat's-Paw I
Classic 1980 C&C quality racer-cruiser with the emphasis on racing.
Kat's-Paw I has been a familiar sight to racers around the western end of Lake Ontario for the past 11 years. She has been Club Champion of the C&C 27 Fleet at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club for 8 years. She has an enviable record at past LORC regatta and offshore series events and more recently has been competing in the Lake Ontario Short Handed series, winning her division overall in the doublehanded event in 2009. She has also placed in the top three regularly at Youngstown, Etobicoke and the C&C Owners Regatta.
She boasts many contemporary upgrades including new Awlgrip paint 2009, new interior cushions in microfibre 2010, new rudder and rudder post 2010, new winter cover 2010, infinitely adjustable Harken genoa cars for fine tuning under load, new 2-burner alcohol stove 2009, no-wire halyards, light and heavy air spinnaker sheets.
Sail inventory includes Quantum main and headsails 1 through 3, downwind spinnaker and VMG reaching spinnaker.
