backstay

I have a mkii with a single back stay.The deck appears too be lifting  were the backstay is attached to the chainplate that is fastened to the vertical  bulkhead at the stern.Are the bolts that hold the chainplate in place moveing (up) or is it just the deck plate at the chainplate??????

       Any ideas ?/?  James " Wynken "
