keel bolts

I have a 75 Mark III. I would like to check the my keel bolts for tightness. Does anyone know how high I should torque these? Also, does it make any difference if I do this on the hard or in the water?

Re: keel bolts

I have the CC 27 Manual from June 30, 1976.  It has the following table for keel bolts:
1/2 Inch = 80 lbs
3/4 Inch = 250 lbs
1 Inch = 350 lbs
1.25 Inch = 400 lbs
The manual covers a range of boats from the 25 to the 38 hence the range in torque. You will have to find the size of your keel bolts. I hope this is of assistance.
