Rigging

Hi Everybody:
Does anybody have the specs for the standing rigging?
I need to replace it, and I can't find the measurements anywhere."Maltese Falcon" is a modified MK I with double set of lowers, so I think the measurements would be the MKII's.
Anybody knows where to find them?
Thanks,

Re: Rigging

Use the search function of the forum to search for 'rigging' or 'shroud tension'.  Setup has been discussed quite a bit.

If it is the length/thickness of shrouds/backstay/forestay that you are looking for you may be better off measuring yourself as a modified Mark I rig could differ from th Mark II rig, modifications possibly being in more than one spec.  That said, perhaps someone has an owners manual for the Mark II with the sought after info.

Gord.

Re: Rigging

If you have the present wire, don't measure it -- take it in to the rigger and let him do it. That's what I did because I reckoned it's the best way of ensuring that there are no surprises.
