Foil Replacement

Greetings
My original forestay aluminum twin track foil is showing its age and I am looking at replacing it with something a little more modern and functional. This is not part of a furling system as racing is still a priority up in our little corner of the world.
Thanks for any comments or advice.

Re: Foil Replacement

For what it's worth, I've seen a couple of respected boats at our club replacing their Tuff Luff foils this year with identical product (like all plastic products, they get brittle in sunlight, but it seems to take a good long time).

Re: Foil Replacement

I'll echo David's comment. My original foil failed about 7-8 years ago.  I forget what it's brand name was, but I replaced it with a "Tuff Luff" extrusion. It was an easy 'snap-on' installation done with the head stay in place and the unit has (touch wood) stood up very well to date.
