Yanmar GM2

Does anyone have any suggestions where to get a manual for a Yanmar GM2?

Re: Yanmar GM2

I have both the manual that came with my 2GM and a Seloc. The Seloc will provide all of the required information that the factory manual provides. I recall that I bought mine from Amazon. The book covers several models of small Yanmar deisels.

I hope it gives you more info than my 2YM15 manual. When I found that I had no manual with the new engine, I had to badger Yanmar for about 6 months. Finallly a kindly service guy in Florida finally mailed me a .pdf. I wonder why I bothered. There are about 4 pages of useful information and 20 of safety warnings of the hare-brained "do not disassemble your engine while it is running" variety.

That is close to what the factory 2GM manual says. The Seloc is more of a "tear down and rebuild" format like you might find from Clymers. Like Clymers you have to pick through the manual because it cover like motors (1gm,3gm etc.). To this point is has replaced the factory manual.

Torrensen is another site worth looking into. http://www.torresen.com/
