Can anyone tell me the SA/D for the MkIII? I thought a simple arithmatic calculation would work but the NORs for the Swiftsure Classic Race, a major overnighter from Victoria, BC out the Straits of Juan de Fuca to the open ocean, lists a complex calculation of:
SA = 1.02xIxJ + PxE
SA/D = SA / (D/64)2/3
This is too much for my mathematically challenged little mind. Using this formula I get a ratio of 3.76 which seems too low.

Correction, on re-calculating the formula, the SA/D ratio becomes 5.84. Told you I have a mathematically challenged little mind. This number still seems low.

A large collection of sailing-related calculators. No computational ability, no thinking required. Perfect for those of us who have difficulty calculating a tip.
