My original TMK pump is giving trouble and I have no manual for it. The only hand pumps on the market seem to be Whale and look smaller. Anyone know whether one can purchase a new TMK pump, or get a refit kit?

This may not be quite the answer you're looking for, but the hand pump on my boat obviously perished and was replaced with a Whale Galley Gusher by the previous owner.

The foot pedal projects through the cabinet below the middle of the door. It's much better than a hand pump, particularly in the galley, because it leaves your hands free.

I was unable to find exact replacements for head and galley pumpsfor my mk 3---they are worthless anyway in my mind---nonetheless---I replaced mine with Whales-----indeed they are somewhat smaller---but available off the shelf at the megastores. I cut a 1/2" piece of starboard, on which, to mount them. Looks fine----still takes three hands to operate. Soon as I figure out how to plumb a workable shower (across frrom the hanging locker that contains my dandy 5200btu marine air unit) I'll fuss with the sinks again.Dave Tinder
