Im about to begin work on Pura Vida's dingy, an Avon rollaway and wondered if anyone had any advice on coatings. I know there are a few good ones out there (the lettering on the boat has lasted several years including one Atlantic crossing and a Caribbean cruise). Advice on what to use, what to avoid and other places to start research would be appreciated.

I have an Avon which wasn't new when purchased in 1989. It has been wiped down with ArmorAll a couple of times each season and apart from limited wear and tear, is still in beautiful shape. Mind you, the season up here is somewhat shorter than yours and the UV impact, while significant in summer, is concomitantly less. Cheers.

These thing really hold up. The Hypalon fabric is in great shape. I need to cover the Florida regstration numbers and the name of the yacht where she served as a tender.
