Re: Hull Number meanings?

I believe that if you look real close at the 1 it is actually an I.
If your boat is a Mk V, then ZCC27039I485 means that it is a C&C 27, hull number 039, built in Sept. of 1984 as a new 1985 model.

Re: Hull Number meanings?

My 1973-74 MKII, hull number 375 was built by Hinterhoeller Limited and carries the "CCY" hull number prefix. The customs doumentation shows she was shipped directly from Canada to Texas. It appears that that designation was used for both Rhode Island boats and Canadian boats (at least in this one instance). Is it possible that the CCY designation was assigned to any boat not produced at the C&C Canada factory?
