This Forum is supported by C&C 27 owners like you whose membership in the C&C 27 Association makes possible this Forum and the accompanying site. Thank you, members, for your continuing commitment.

And now for a message from our sponsor...
We'd like you to join the C&C 27 Association for 2010 (or renew, if you're already a member), if you haven't already done so.
As a C&C 27 owner, you already know you're sailing one of the best production boats ever built. As a user of the site and Forum, you already know
- that the 27 Association's Web site tells you everything you need to know about the history and development of the C&C 27;
- that you have instant access to the site's detailed information on major setup and maintenance issues, along with sources for materials and repair parts, plus a regular and lively supply of imaginative ideas for making your boat even better; and
- that whenever you need more, a network of interested 27 sailors will give you the benefit of their experience and unbiased advice on our active Forum -- within days if not hours.
You may not know, though, that we need your help to keep it going. All of the Association's work is done by volunteers, 27 owners like you, planning, organizing, working on the Web site and so on. Hosting a Web site, though, is not free, and hosting a photo-rich site like ours is more expensive than hosting a simple text site.
Why not join the sailors from Lake Michigan to Florida who support our site and our work to maintain interest in the C&C 27 (and support its value). For just $25 (Canadian or US, check or money order), you'll receive:
- a year's membership in the 27 Association;
- a laminated membership card
- and if you're a first-time member, a flag to display to show your membership!.
Support the 27! Support the Association!
Join us today!
Sincerely,
Larry Bayer,
President
C&C 27 Association
A non-profit volunteer association of C&C 27 owners
PS: I've linked both a text version and an Acrobat version of our membership form. However, if you're renewing, there's no need to provide more than your name and address unless anything has changed. I hope we'll be hearing from you soon.
PPS: The banks have made it very difficult for a small org like ours even to have a bank account. We looked into Visa and we'd have to double our fees (and the time our treasurer spends on the job) to make it possible. There are set-up fees, maintenance fees, transaction fees - just ask anyone you know with a low-volume small business). Hooking up with a third-party payment scheme line Paypal is brutal.
Association e-mail policies
We will never give your e-mail or other information to anyone else. Period.
We will send you an e-mail every spring asking you to join the Association. If this vexes you, just remember that membership fees are the Association's only source of revenue. If people like you don't join and support the Association, there will be no site.
We will remove your name from our e-mailing list if you ask to be removed from Forum registration (see the Contacts page of the site, under "This Site"). Please bear with us if we accidentally mail you again - we are a volunteer organization and our mailing procedures are strictly manual, so mistakes do occur. Just let us know and we'll do our best to ensure it doesn't happen again.
