I need a new sail cover for my main. I have a 1985 mark V. Should I get a made to order, a standard cover. Need a good vendor.

Try Sportech Sails in St. Catharines at 905 688-1833 and ask for Jamie. I know their busy right now, but so is everyone else.
You may not want to go so far afield from Oyster Bay, NY as St. Catherines, ON. Have you looked at West Marine or a local marine canvas supplier? Mainsail covers – in my experience, anyway – are a fairly generic product.
