Just wanted to pop in and say I got my new roller furler installed and I'm really loving it.
I got the unit and a new genoa from Knighton Sailmakers (in Sarasota, Florida). I paid $1,250 US for the furler which seemed pretty reasonable to me since the list is closer to $1700 US.
The unit works fantastic and its really making life easy. One less reason to have to crawl out of the cockpit in a blow.
If I have any negative experiences with it in future I'll be sure to update this thread.
