Winter Tarp - low cost, good looking and secure

This year I bought a $40 commercial tarp and got a snug fit folding the excess material over and using a $10 hot melt glue gun to wrap it tight around the hull. I slipped in some carpet while gluing to ensure the gelcoat did not get affected. So far no problems and the glue is holding fast. At 1/3 the cost of shrink wrap (if I do not get another season out of it), I'm happy and the boat is secure. Next year a shrink wrap door gets glued on!
