Securing the Propane Tank

Hi All,

When I bought the boat (CC27 MKV) last Oct. the insurance company said I had to secure the propane tank before launch.  Can members share their setup with me?  Currently it's just sitting in the compartment.

And for those following the threads re engine mounts and wiring, the Yanmar 1GM-10 is now installed and it runs.  Even without the fuel line connected.  I guess there was fuel in the injectors from when the shop tested it after reconditioning.  THANKS TO ALL AT THE ETOBICOKE YC for sharing your configs.

And one final note: Mofongo is now Dark'n'Stormy - Splash date is May 29th at National YC.

First round of Dark'n'Stormys (drinks) is on me.

Re: Securing the Propane Tank

Mine, when I bother to put it on the boat, is just secured in the locker with a shock cord. The locker is not large enough of the tank to go anywhere, there is a recess in the bottom of the locker for the tank to sit in, and I think the main idea to keep the tank from moving around in the locker.

Glad to hear that you resolved your engine situation and look forward to see you out on the lake.
