Last night at our Commodore's Ball I learned of a Mk4 that is for sale at my club in Niagara on the Lake. I think it was about the 3 rd last one built and was originally owned by a fellow who worked at C&C and his brotherinlaw. The boat is considered a "Custom" due to their many improvements. This fellow member purchased it from them years ago and has truly kept it in pristene condition ! He did have it listed with a broker but he wanted top dollar plus the addition of the broker fee's made it quite expensive. [ don't forget that in 1982 due to the price of oil, the last 27's were fetching mid 40's]
I don't know his exact asking price now, but he told me it is significantly lower and he's open to private offers. It won't go cheap, but believe me it is in great condition ! You won't have to worry about the balsa core on this deck, as it's always been covered from early fall till late spring. He has put more care into it than his old Mercedes and that too is immaculate. [not for sale yet, forget it I get first dibs on this baby]
If your interested call him direct at : Ted Grimwood-905-468-3380
P.S.--if you insist on having a trailer with it, I just happen to have one custom built that going up for sale also.
