I recently stumbled on a neat web-site that not only has the written Racing Rules (Regular and Match Racing, with umpire decisions) in 3 languages (English/French/German) but also has some neat graphics to illustrate the application of all the rules one could encounter anywhere around a race course. This is the only site I know of where the graphics are NOT static pictures of boats. Instead, they are colourful, animated vignettes showing two or more boats in motion in many, many different situations. The animations can be played, paused, re-played and played in slow motion either backward and forward. At the end of each animation, the viewer is asked to determine if he thinks a rule has been violated and by which boat. Then it shows the answer, along with the applicable written rule. I found that the site added greatly to my understanding of the rules and their application and I don't hesitate to recommend that anyone who is racing pay a visit to; http://www.finckh.org/rspiel/indexe.htm
