Mk III cockpitThe Mark III and IV could be had with tiller or wheel steering. Although much of the III and IV's additional length went into the cockpit, it's still a narrow space, so wheel owners often find themselves walking on the seats. Engine controls moved to an ankle-destroying position on the side opposite the gauges and the traveller moved to the forward end of the cockpit, better positioned for shaping the main. |
