Bought in Cleveland in 2008, Veloce now sails in the Championnat Régional de Yachting de Québec inter-club circuit, for which Kevin is technical director. There is one other Mk V on the circuit; most of the competition are Kirby 25's, J/24's and similar. If results continue favourable, he'd like to bring the boat to Toronto to race against a fleet of Mk V's.

In 2009, Kevin also cruised down-river to the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
