Rudder post cap

"The wood that fills the rudder stem only goes down about six inches and was completely rotten. After drilling it out I found the post full of water! I cleaned it all out and filled the top six inches with thickened epoxy. I left the tiller bolt in place, coated with oil, which after knocked out left a perfect fit. All the old slop that was in the tiller is now gone and it looks much better." – Michael Suitor
