Forward quarter viewThe keel is rounded in the forefoot, so a lot of weight falls on the forward end of the cradle. Also the bow section is a fairly deep V, which tends to force the outboard bow pads aside, so the 27 Marks I to IV need a pad just under the bow to handle some of this weight. |
