Thanks Jim. There are not many C&C 27 around here so I don't have any other owners to bounce stuff off of. This forum is it.
I'm talking to UK and Doyle lofts right now. I'm glad both did well. Their lofts are all a good distance away. My choice is to use lofts that make fast sails but not in the area or use the local guy. The local loft in this area made the sails for a couple of J24s at the club. Not only am I correcting out ahead of them in PHRF racing but I'm beating them boat for boat using my blown out main. I would like to use the guy but I'm not so sure it's a good idea. So far a boat using his sails hasn't finished ahead of me. I'm sure it's not my sailing ability. If the boats up there are fast with those three then I may have to go that way.

From what I've read on here you are the racer of the group. Hopefully you do not mind if I pick your brain.
I've purchased a MRK V back in March. The bottom has been completely fared and painted. Now I am moving on to the sails. I am considering purchasing a set of carbon laminate tri-radial sails. Do you have any loft suggestions that makes fast sails for the MRK V?

I purchased a MRK V back in March. I am very happy with the way it sails. I followed the mast tuning suggestions in the Black Arts section. The boat is fast and points well. Thank you for the info. My sails are old and still scoring well in the races but it is past time for some new sails. Which sail manufacturer is active with working with you guys that are racing? Who is supplying good sails that work well with the boat?
